Hiring: Human Resources Coordinator


The Human Resources Coordinator (HR Coordinator) supports Pathway Lending’s goals, values, and philosophy by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence, quality service, commitment, and accountability.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Working under the policy direction of Pathway Lending and under the general supervision of the Chief People Officer (CPO) this position provides support in administrative areas. The H R Coordinator assists with all Pathway Lending’s human resource policies and processes throughout the organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness as well as highlighting potential issues in personnel management. This position assists the CPO with the administration of employee benefit plans and acts as liaison with the PEO.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  N/A

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Assists the CPO with the day-to-day management of human resources at Pathway and the administrative function of payroll, benefits and personnel records and serves as liaison with Pathway’s PEO.  Completes Forms I-9 and maintains those files as well as other personnel files.
  2. Responds to employee requests and questions in a timely manner and maintains records pertaining to that activity. Creates and maintains an employee FAQ on the company’s Intranet.
  3. Assists with recruitment and interview process and tracks the status of candidates and generates appropriate follow-up correspondence. Helps maintain a library of current job descriptions for Pathway.
  4. Assists with Pathway performance review process, including maintaining an appropriate calendar reflecting when the reviews are due.
  5. Assists with onboarding and termination processes and maintains appropriate documentation of these activities.
  6. Assists with employee correspondence, i.e., changes in compensation, positions, or any other means of communication necessary to inform individuals or all staff of any meaningful information about Pathway or its activities.
  7. Performs clerical dues including, but not limited to, processing mail, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing correspondence, etc.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required. Ability to provide excellent customer service with clients, partners, stakeholders, and team members. Strong Microsoft Office skills including Adobe, and ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy, excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization, ability to meet or exceed business goals and objectives, while fostering a team atmosphere. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field. Two years of related experience is required.  Must have experience resolving and working through personnel issues and the ability to perform in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.

Ability to communicate in English, remain in a stationary position 75% of workday, move, cognitive of job responsibilities; ability to travel if required; and ability to adapt to a changing work environment.
