Bob Lancaster

With a career spanning more than four decades across corporate finance, academia, and nonprofit leadership, Bob brings deep expertise and a lasting commitment to small business success in his role as Director of Business Advisory Services at Pathway Lending.

Since joining Pathway in 2011, Bob has led the development and delivery of the organization’s comprehensive business advisory services—including training, technical assistance, coaching, and mentoring—all designed to help entrepreneurs across Tennessee start, sustain, and grow their businesses. His work plays a central role in advancing Pathway’s mission to drive economic development and job creation in underserved communities through education and access to capital.

Before joining Pathway, Bob held senior financial leadership roles in the corporate sector and served as an accounting instructor and adjunct professor at Middle Tennessee State University and Martin Methodist College. He taught courses in financial and managerial accounting, as well as accounting information systems, sharing his knowledge with the next generation of financial professionals.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1971, Bob also holds an MBA from Tennessee Technological University and a Certificate in Financial Planning from Belmont University. His dedication to service extends beyond the workplace—he previously chaired the Board of Directors for the Williamson County chapter of the American Red Cross.
