Veronica Uribe

Community Development Manager, Middle Tennessee

About

Originally from Mexico City, Veronica came to Tennessee on a full tennis scholarship to Tennessee Tech—and what started as a one-year exchange turned into nearly 30 years of calling Middle Tennessee home. She brings more than 20 years of experience in finance, banking, and community outreach, and she’s passionate about helping small business owners—especially those in underserved communities—access the tools, capital, and support they need to grow.

Veronica has led initiatives to increase investment in Hispanic- and minority-owned businesses and even launched a local program through the USTA called Tenis Para Todos to bring more diversity to the sport she loves.

As Community Development Manager, Veronica leads outreach across Middle Tennessee—connecting entrepreneurs with Pathway’s lending and learning programs and building partnerships that help communities thrive.

She’s deeply involved in the community, serving on several nonprofit boards and always finding ways to give back—whether it’s through mentoring, volunteering in schools, or connecting families to financial resources.
