As Director of Community Engagement at Pathway Lending, Katie serves as a vital connector between stakeholders, partners, and borrowers—linking people and programs to Pathway’s mission of strengthening communities and expanding economic opportunity across Tennessee. In this role, she cultivates strategic relationships and designs collaborative programs that directly support entrepreneurs and the ecosystems that help them thrive.
Katie’s work centers on elevating and activating local resources to help small business owners build capacity, access new opportunities, and position their businesses for long-term success.
Prior to joining Pathway, Katie developed, launched, and led a capital access initiative that connected entrepreneurs with investors across Chattanooga and surrounding counties. Over the last 20 years, she’s held various roles in startups and fundraising, with proven success in capital development—raising over $15 million in grant funding for mission-driven initiatives.
Katie also serves as Vice Chair of Downside Up and as Secretary for the South Broad Redevelopment Group board in Chattanooga, reflecting her ongoing commitment to inclusive economic growth in her community.
