Meet Your Instructor: Jim Klonaris

Jim is a seasoned entrepreneur and community developer with over four decades of experience in business startups, concept design, and operations. As the CEO of multiple award-winning restaurants and event venues, including Kefi, Bella, Café 4, Vida, The Vault, and The Press Room, Jim has established a reputation for creating unforgettable customer experiences. His expertise spans corporate roles at Coca-Cola and Franklin Covey, where he honed skills in sales, training, and public speaking.

Jim’s hands-on approach encompasses every aspect of business, from concept creation and property development to marketing and customer service. A servant leader, he translates his real-world knowledge into practical tools to help others achieve their entrepreneurial goals. Jim holds a B.F.A. from the University of Tennessee and certifications in leadership development, including 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

As a mentor, real estate investor, and executive board member of Men of Valor, Jim is deeply committed to fostering growth in his community. Based in Knoxville for over 49 years, Jim continues to contribute to the city’s vibrant food and event scene while inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs.
